Mariam’s House offers an authentic home-hosted cultural dining experience in Petra, where guests are welcomed into a warm family environment. Hosted by Mariam and her family, the experience includes a traditional Jordanian meal prepared using locally sourced ingredients and recipes passed down through generations.
Beyond the food, guests engage in meaningful cultural exchange—learning about local traditions, women’s roles in the community, Bedouin heritage, and daily life in Petra. The atmosphere is intimate, welcoming, and rooted in genuine hospitality.
This experience directly supports local women by creating sustainable income opportunities through tourism while preserving culinary heritage.
